Frozen FUN in Canada!

Anthony and I had the best time in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! My best friend from college, Jocelyn, and her husband, Jeff live there with their son Aiden and foster son, Jeremy. It's been almost 2 years since we've seen them, so the visit was long overdue. The temperature averaged -20 degrees celsius, which is about -6 fahrenheit. Needless to say, we were freezing! We mostly stayed indoors, but we did venture out for a date night, which was so much fun. We went to dinner and a movie and then for dessert afterwards. We also went to see some Christmas lights, toured around Saskatoon, and had breakfast at the infamous Wagon Wheel (a tradition that must be kept when visiting Sask).
Most of the week we stayed warm in Jeff & Jocelyn's house playing games, watching movies, eating yummy, homemade desserts, and just hanging out. We also celebrated an early Christmas together and exchanged gifts. The boys had so much fun opening presents. It's so much better in person than through the mail :)

After 4 days, we had to say good-bye. It's always the worst part! It's especially hard when you're not sure when the next visit will be. We did take some cute pictures in the airport while we were procrastinating the inevitable departure.

Thanks, Jeff & Joc, for an amazing time! We miss you all already! You both are such special friends -- we love you!
