Anthony and I went home to Vancouver, WA for Thanksgiving. We had 10 fun-filled days spent with our family and friends. It was such a great week! We had so much fun and ate really great food! Our 1st Thanksgiving was on Wednesday with Mike & Joyce (Anthony's Dad and Step-Mom) and his brother, Tyler. We had such a relaxing time catching up with them.
Our 2nd Thanksgiving was Thursday at my Dad & Mom's house. However, I forgot to take pictures that night, but I did take some when we all got together for leftovers on Sunday. It was so great to see all of our family and spend time with them. We had such awesome food!!
Our 3rd (and final) Thanksgiving dinner was at Vanessa's (Anthony's Mom) house. Anthony's grandparents came from the Tri-Cities to celebrate with us. It was so great to see them and spend a little time with them. We had a wonderful dinner! Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures that night either (I know, I know...I have to get better at taking pictures for my blog!). I did take one on Saturday night though. Tyler's girlfriend, Laura, and my sister, Katie all came over for dinner. We had such a blast and stayed up way too late! :)
We had a chance to have dinner with one of my best friend's from high school, Amy, and her husband, John. Amy and I have known each other for a very long time. We went to school together from Kindergarten to 2 years at the same college. It was great to see her and catch up. Living in two different states makes it difficult to keep up with each other's lives. We had such a great time. They also introduced us to one of our new favorite games: Settler's of Catan (I think that's how you spell it). Thanks Amy & John for a fun and relaxing evening.
On Saturday morning before we had to leave, we were able to meet Mike & Tami for breakfast. They are great friends of ours that Anthony and I met in our small group. They are such awesome people - we wish we could see them more often! Katie came to breakfast with us and we had such a great time visiting and catching up.
Okay, I think I got the hang of this blogging thing, so I'll be better at updating it! Sorry it took me so long to get this one up. I still have more blogging to do, but it will have to be another day. Thanks for your patience! We hope you all are enjoying the Christmas season!
